This was one of the very first books that got me interested in SciFi. I read it and absolutely loved it! The way it is written tells the story perfectly and the character development is well done. Pelly D's voice comes to life and toward the end you can't help but to feel for her and all she has lost. If you like science fiction I would definately recommend this book to you. Even if you don't like science fiction, I still recommend that you give it a try (there aren't any spaceships/crazy weird techno stuff). P.S. If you like this, make sure to read its even better sequel, Cherry Heaven.
