An absolutely beautiful book! Easy to read and very adorable. A good read for young teens to adults.
This was such a cute, quirky book about a make believe town where no discrimination exists for those in the GLBTQ community. Even the kid with the ultra conservative parents lives in the next town over. As others have said, the beginning was weird but once you got over it, the story improved.
I loved this book so much!
At the start of this book it sounds like you should just put the book down and stop reading but if you push yourself to carry on reading this book you will enjoy it.
This along with Alex Sanchez Rainbow trilogy are in the pantheon of great teen queer fiction. Levithan creates truely believable relationships in a utopian world. His turn of phrase is gifted and truely moving - Paul and his relationship with his friend Tony is heartbreakingly sweet, and pure in the best of what we want for and from our friends.
Couldn't stop laughing or put it down the first time through, though not as funny the second time through. If only real life for LGBTQ's were just like this book!
A funny read following the life of a gay teen who meets the guy of his dreams. Funny look at high school life too!
