May take a long time to read but is worth it. A whole crew of creatures playing baseball to save the worlds. Page turning suspense and fantasy. Great book!

I loved this book. 2 11 yr olds, plus an assortment of magical creatures of various species have to save all existance by playing baseball, a game which apparantly is known and appreciated in all the worlds. Very engaging and a really interesting mixture of Norse and Native American myths. Also the children are from the PNW on a small nonexistant island near Whidbey. Lots of humor and bravery, courage and loyal friends.
