Add a CommentI have read this so many times- it is my favorite Gail Carson Levine book! It's completely amazing!! It was beautifully written and a perfect mix of sad and happy. Wonderful.
This is one of my all time favorite books. It is amazingly well written and the story is so wonderful and captivating, you'll never want to put it down. I don't believe in rereading books. But this book? I'd read it every day! The characters are wonderful and Levine has a great way of keeping you guessing.
an amazing book! my favourite by Levine. i really loved the way she made Addie find her courage and a happy ending in the end!
This is one of my favourite books by Levine. Delicately crafted, the story shows that courage and strength are in all of us, waiting to be found.
best book ever!
I loved this book! It is beautifully written, and made me feel like a little girl again believing in fairy tales.(I'm 15). Love the characters and plot, very suprizing twist in the end, but I loved every minute of it.
was really good and sad
Good book! I liked the rhyming parts to it, and it feels real. The Gray Death reminded me of the plague, did anyone else get this idea? I loved the dragon!
I love anything put out by Levine, and this book is certainly no exception. While I may prefer some of her other books over this one, I still highly recommend it. I think it's easy to see a little bit of Addie inside of ourselves.
No clue what the comment below is about. I found this to be one of Gails best.
