Violence: The Martians were very violent. Their ray guns vaporized humans. They first turned into skeletons before disappearing completely. There were also shootings, fist fights, impalings, and one character was crushed by a chandelier. Please see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116996/parentalguide for a complete listing of violence (as well as for profanity and sexual warnings.)
Coarse Language: There was only mild swearing in this film, and not much of it. Some of the humor was rude.

Add a CommentAck-Ack, Ack,Ack,Ack!! Translation: Play this movie on your HOMETHEATER. It's not often that i laugh while watching a movie. But this film, and my friend spitting out her wine, had me cracking up a few times. This is a silly science fiction comedy that i enjoyed. The aliens were silly and brutal at the same time. I was very surprised to see so many well known actors and actresses playing in this campy movie. This movie has good all around sound and was fun to watch. I'm giving this movie 4 stars. Funny looking crazy aliens, many celebrities playing goofball characters, good story, and good visual and audio effects. Fried chicken wings, baked potatoes, and sweet potatoe pie.
I thought this movie was very good. It had an all-star cast and an interesting story. I found it to be a bit campy, but in a good way. The Martians were pretty funny, with their "Ack ack ack!" language. I loved how they outwitted the humans at nearly every turn. I really like Jack Nicholson's acting (I always do) but I almost didn't recognize him as Art Land. If you enjoy campy humor, I really recommend this movie.
