Really good story for young adults. Glad I was told to try it out.
this book was very good but i didnt like how cameron left at the end i really wanted him to stay with her even though they still wrote each other its still not quite enough for me she should write another book sequeal to sweethearts
What a weird book! I cannot truthfully say I liked "Sweethearts" at all. I felt like it was a very bare idea with a lot of fluff to make the book longer. Basically, it's about a girl named Jennifer who was chubby, tormented, and friendless as a child. Her only companion was a boy named Cameron. She was torn apart when he stopped coming to school and a kid told her that he was dead. She believed that. Later on, she grows up to be a pretty, popular girl, who isn't comfortable with herself so she pretends to be someone she isn't. Cameron shows up out of nowhere and her boyfriend is jealous. Throughout the book, she keeps having flashbacks of a certain memory with Cameron's dad who is a bit of a creeper. The whole book is totally bizarre yet mildly entertaining. Go for it if you're in need of a no-think novel.
so depressing...
This book was OK, although I thought it was slow. I also didn't like how it ends because it feels unfinished, like there should be a sequel.
I couldn't put the book down - it was that wonderful. It's a nice quick and sweet read, that will keep you wondering page after page. Two thumbs up!
A stunning novel written expertly. I thought that the relationship that Cameron and Jennifer had was so odd, but they made the perfect couple. I don't particularly like the ending, but it's realistic. I loved this book.
This book was excellent! I thought it had a sad ending though (well, at least in my opinion). But, I liked that it was so realistic and I think that anyone who has experienced something traumatic can relate to the characters in this book. It was very insightful and even though it was more of a of serious read - generally I like cheery novels - I really enjoyed it!!
