Summary
Add a SummaryAll Claire Danvers wanted was a normal college experience. Preferably somewhere far away, but when her parents send her to Morganville, Texas, she's still glad to be going to college, even if she is, at sixteen, the youngest college student around. Morganville is a small college town, and Claire's prepared to make the best of her fresh start. Unfortunately, things don't turn out the way anyone expected or wanted them to. At first, Claire's existence is made miserable by a few girls in her dorm who torment her. Dorm life, for Claire, is not all it's cracked up to be--in fact, it's pretty much as miserable as she thinks it can get, so Claire decides to move out and find a place off-campus. Luck is with her; she ends up at a spooky-looking mansion with a room she can actually afford, and three roommates who actually turn out to be pretty cool, even if they have reservations about letting her move in at first. Michael, Shane, and Eve are all eighteen, and Claire's a couple of years younger. If Claire thought being harassed in her dorm was bad, she didn't know Morganville's secrets. When she moves out of the dorm, however, she learns that there's more to Morganville than there seems to be. The town is run by vampires. Yes, actual vampires that can't go out in the daytime and drink human blood at night. If Claire's not careful, it could end up being her blood they're drinking...

this was a really good book, it was so entertaining that i literally couldn't stop
I really liked this book and the plot twists worked well here for the story. I'm not a fan of Twilight, but I love this novel. Really caught my interest when Twilight didn't. I hope the rest of the series is good and gets even better.
A fun page turner that's perfect for teen fans of Buffy. It resembles a teen version of a Sookie Stackhouse book.
I loved it! good writing! I wouldn't have known it was "YA", it doesn't talk down to you. Also, I went away to school once, so I can relate to the whole laundry episode at the beginning.
a thrilling book that deals with relatable issues such as bully's etc but also an adventorous book that deals with new friendship's and vampires
this book was great and it was so original. one of the best YA series for sure. the story was unique and the main character was fallible and cute enough that she seemed almost real. I love the perspective on vampires in this series, as well as the character relationships, which make the series very appealing. awesome book. :)
OMG! If you don't read this you will miss out. It was great! the romance came together with the protagonist's life and the main plot line perfectly. The rest of the series is just as perfect.
i love this book.i satayed up all night finishing it was really good.!!!
just wasn't for me...Something about the flow, I think. Not bad, don't get me wrong! Just didn't relate. Do hope Claire and her friends have a brighter future!
