Add a CommentI really liked The Off Season which follows - in the novel's time line - Dairy Queen by just a few weeks. Literally, where Dairy Queen leaves off, The Off Season begins. DJ's football career is taking off until something bad happens. Only to be completely derailed when something horrible happens soon after. And, DJ and Brian are on again and off again. This was a fun summer read. Not quite as good as Dairy Queen: a little too much romance in the story for me.
great book! lev. 2 like its prequel. surprising ending as in most books couples either get back together, become archenemies, or just normal friends, and one of them would still, uh, "want each other" while the other kinda hates his/her ex or has a new "partner"; but in this book DJ believes there can be someone for her that's better than Brian and well...that's unusual. first of its kind that i've read. and yes, i've read a lot of books. XD nice job!
A really good book but a little sad with a very unexpected twist
