Summary
Add a SummaryAva can sing really well - she can throw her voice and imitate anything without even opening her mouth. But she's really ugly. She falls in love with the prince, is used for her voice by the queen (not the prince's mom, his step-mom) and is eventually thrown out of the castle. Following a series of wild events, she finds her way back, the king banishes the evil queen and she gets married to the prince.

Add a CommentThis is another fairytale novel by the author of Ella Enchanted and it's hard for me to say which one I liked better. Ella Enchanted was an original chapter book based on the Cinderella story, Fairest is an orginal chapter book based on the Snow White story. This book is a lot of fun, very entertaining, and I really enjoyed the detailed fantasy setting. This book is recommended for girls in grades 5-8 and also for anyone else who enjoys fresh fantasy stories with strong, interesting heroines.
I have read this book about 6 times and I listened to it once. I love it more every time I read it. It's so amazing and moving. My favorite Gail Carson Levine book!
this book is not bad =)
It was a really good book. I loved it so much! It's probaly the best book in the world! However, it started names and sentences with lower cases.
luved it!!
I am in the start of this book, and I recommend that you read Princess of the Midnight Ball if you haven't already read it, 'cause it's awesome, awesome, awesome!!!!
I will admit that this is not my favorite of Levine's works, but I still enjoyed it deeply. The moral is one that everyone should remember, with a sweet story about knowing you are special as the person you are.
I have a feeling this would be a good book so... Here i go to click the request button...
