Add a CommentOkay, so at first I thought this was a boring book because nothing was happening. But afterwards the book got better and better. Overall it was an awesome book! Can't wait to read the next one... (=
Blue Bloods is an interesting combination of subjects, I like to think of it as vampires meet Gossip Girl. The vampire lore is different from other books and I really liked the author's take on how vampires become undead!
I was skeptical at first as to whether I would enjoy this novel because it was my first vampire novel. But I enjoyed it. It was easy to get lost in their world. Can't wait to read more of this series.
After reading the first couple of chapters in the first book of this series, i thought i am not going to like this at all, it is sooo not my type of book. But i had taken out the first 4 books in the series from the library and that was all i currently had to read so i continued. I am sooooo glad i did, i loved the books. They are so different from other vampire books, but it was nice to not have to follow the same myths and rules that all other vampire books i have read followed. i am currently on a waiting list for misguided angel and cannot wait to read that one.
Thi book supplied a nice new twist on vampires and their heritage. It may be in other books, but none that I have read. History dates back to egyptian times, but concentrates on the Mayflower. Really cool. Mixes fiction and history well. I know it peeked my intrest in the whole croatan thing. I read it in 5 hours!
Great book, it is really easy to read, a little confusing at first, but easy. You'll just have to watch for the POV's being changed around from main characters.
Melissa de la Cruz is a fabulous reader. Loved every second of her books.
ok firstly, great book i thought it was well done thank you for a great read
I really enjoyed this book as well as what I've read from the rest of the series thus far. It continues to have twists and turns that I would have never expected.
at first i was hesitant to read this book since the description about it wasn't very intriguing. but, i am glad i finished the book and moved on to the next in the series because the series got me fascinated from every word of every page. definitely a worthy read. :D
