If a loved one has passed away recently (spouse, friend, best friend, family member, or a pet) this is a great book. I know, because my aunt and grandfather died around the same time as my friends mom ant this book has helped us both. Even if you’re an adult, I am sure is a book worth reading. You might want to stop because it is a little overwhelming in the first little bit; but please keep going.

Both my parents passed away quite close in time to each other. Surprisingly, this book provided some level of peace besides being both interesting and entertaining. I used the CD Audio book. The teenager who reads it was great !

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! The main character Liz, was hit by a taxi, and wakes up in a place called Elsewhere. In this book she discovers love, faces challenges, and many other things. She is reunited with family that has passed on before her, but grows close to them again. The story is always moving, no time to be bored. I highly recommend this book to anyone! GREAT FAST READ!!

This book brings a new look on life and death. This is about a 15 year old girl that is killed and is taken to a place where all the dead live in this new life. It shows how a girl can finally live to accept things, even though it is hard for her to let her past life go. It is a very exciting book, a book so pleasantly written, that you would almost wish it was real. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a charming story.

I loved this book. I love how Gabrielle (author) made another afterlife in this book. But I wish I found out what happened between Owen and Liz. When they were kids was my favourite part. So cute!!!!!! :)

Elsewhere is where 15-year-old Liz Hall ends up, after she has died. It is a place so like Earth, yet completely different. Here Liz will age backward from the day of her death until she becomes a baby again and returns to Earth.

"By the way, you do speak Canine don't you?" "Canine?" asks Liz. "What's Canine?" "Canine is the language of dogs. Dear me, you don't mean to say that they still aren't teaching it in Earth schools?" Aldous seems truly horrified at the possibility. Liz shakes her head. "A pity," says Aldous, "as Canine is one of our most beautiful languages. Did you know that there are over three hundred words for 'love' in Canine?" Liz thinks of her sweet Lucy back on Earth. "I believe it," Liz says.”
